About Me, the Provider
I am a mother of one son and two daughters. My husband works outside the home as a Computer Systems Engineer at MacDill Air Force Base. I have been working in early childhood education for over 15 years and have loved every minute of it.
My Qualifications
First and foremost, I am a Mother, and like you, my main goal in life is to provide a loving, safe, and educational environment for my own children where they are free to explore, play, and just have fun. I bring this same goal and enthusiasm into my childcare program.
I have earned the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) for which I took over 120 hours of specialized training in the following areas:
* planning a safe, healthy environment to invite learning
* providing props and guidance to advance children’s physical and
intellectual development
* providing positive ways to support children’s social and emotional
development
* strategies to establish productive relationships with families
* strategies to manage an effective program operation
* maintaining a commitment to professionalism
* observing and recording children’s behavior
* principles of child development and learning
I have also earned the Director Credential which consists of 45 hours of specialized training in the following competencies
